Photography and Video Policy

We recognise that parents and carers are likely to want to record sports and activities or special events that families and friends will value the memories of for years to come. In line with Paignton Community & Sports Academy’s E-Safety policy – Use of digital and video images, The Torbay Holiday Programme requests that parents and carers sign a Photography Consent Form (click to download online or from the Holiday Programme Office) to cover the taking and use of such images, to ensure that the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998 are adhered to and the wishes of other parents/carers are respected. The Torbay Holiday Programme recognises the need to ensure the welfare and safety of all children. In accordance with our child protection policy we will not permit photographs, video or other images of children and young people to be taken without the consent of the parents/guardians of the children. Photographs and videos may be used for displays, social media, websites, publicity material & newspapers.  If you do not wish photos/videos to be taken of your child(ren) please select ‘No’ on the booking form. The Torbay Holiday Programme will take all steps to ensure these images are used solely for the purposes they are intended.  If you become aware that these images are being used inappropriately you should inform the Torbay Holiday Programme immediately.
